Why is private segregation illegal or wrong?
I understand why segregating people based on religion or race isn't fair for public services or places because everybody pays taxes, but why is private segregation illegal? If my dad owns a restaurant and he doesn't want to serve muslims or africans, why is that the government's business? If anything it would be bad for him because he'd lose customers. So why is private segregation illegal?
